We’re having a party and you’re all invited!

Who said you need to go outside to have a party? Because we definitely didn’t!

Here at She Codes, we strongly believe in the power of technology to connect us, inspire us, and sometimes even challenge us. And while many of us are currently working from home or unable to access large group events – we decided to bring our one day workshop to you.

On April 18th, we’ll be hosting an online coding party and you can join us from the comfort of your living room, your study, or simply just wherever your laptop fits.

Enjoy access to four self-paced tutorials including WordPress, HTML/CSS, Python and Django, and our amazing industry mentors on hand to help you code. So all you need to do is have your laptop, some reliable internet, a sense of adventure and a willingness to learn.

So, what exactly is a virtual coding party?

A virtual coding party is an opportunity for She Coders from around the world to learn in a fun female-friendly environment that is 100% virtual but still maintains human connection.

That sounds great but, how does it work?

Simply sign up to the event here and make sure you leave your name, email and postal address, then pop the date in your diary and clear your schedule!

Following your registration, you’ll soon receive an email from us, as well as a few surprises. The day before the event you will receive a pack in the mail with the programs you need to download, the official She Codes virtual party playlist, your invite to our Slack community, and all your reminders for the big day.

Then, on the morning of the event, keep an eye on your inbox for access to our exclusive communications channel to reach others in the party, a private introduction on Slack to one other coder who will be your buddy for the day, a fun group workout to get your body moving and blood flowing from wherever you are, and access to mentors as you go through self-paced online content.

More questions?

We get it – an online coding party sounds too good to be true, so feel free to flick us an email through our Contact Page if you have more questions.

But until then – we can’t wait to have you guys involved and see you soon!
