One of these initiatives is She Codes, a movement focussed on getting women in tech. Our vision is for these programs is to blend learning, industry, and community to create pathways for women to enter tech careers, inspire curiosity and demystify coding.

About the Program Experience Coordinator

The Program Experience Coordinator will be leading learning programs such as Plus, our 6 months training course, and Flash, a 1 week taster, being the ultimate person responsible for delivering a high-quality experience to the participants. This means getting involved both from a strategic and hands-on perspective to assure the format, content, logistics, facilitators and anything else required is running smoothly.  

As a new and growing initiative, we expect the Program Experience Coordinator to engage in a fast-paced continuous learning routine, always listening, getting feedback, testing and implementing improvement ideas alongside the team and the facilitators.

Role-specific responsibilities:

Experience Coordination

  • Coordinate the running of programs and events
  • Keep track of timelines 
  • Maintain a focus on customer service and ensure the experience is always excellent
  • Ensure visibility by maintaining and updating our information platforms
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal/external clients/suppliers
  • Flexible with work hours with a willingness to travel if required, as some programs require presence on weekends and outside of business hours

Community building

  • Work with the team to deliver a great customer experience
  • Enjoy being around people and engage with attendees at events but also online with our online community

Skills required:

  • Solid communication skills
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Outstanding customer service orientation
  • Excellent relationship and community building skills
  • Attention to detail 
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software programs. Note: programming and tech skills are not required for this role.
  • Flexibility with ad hoc and after-hours working hours
  • Passion
  • Events experience preferred
  • Bonus points for marketing and design skills
