We’re excited to introduce our first ever She Codes Plus Sydney cohort, with the program taking place in the brand new Western Sydney Startup Hub, powered by Spacecubed. The brand new hub, located in a unique heritage precinct, is fitted with a modern interior and premium amenities. It’s designed to inspire innovation, facilitate connections and deliver curated programs, such as She Codes, for individuals and growing business. The new hub is opening later this month, and the Sydney She Codes cohort are lucky enough to be the first to utilise the space!
A big thank you to program partners VGW, Spacecubed and the Federal Government for making this program as easily accessible to participants as possible. Recently we conducted an interview with VP of Engineering at VGW, Lee Campbell, where he stated that diversity is crucial. He also noted that while there were previously few women working in technology at VGW, this diversity gap has greatly closed because of She Codes. He goes on to say that inclusivity increases vulnerability, which leads to better discussions and lines of thinking, and overall work culture. To watch the full video interview with Lee, click here.
And without further ado, we’re so excited to introduce our 2022 Sydney Plus cohort:
