Our mentors are the heart of what we do - they guide learners through workshops, share industry insights, and create the supportive environment that makes She Codes special.
Over the years we've had more than 1,100 mentors from around the country attend events, answer questions on Slack, and support learners in their first steps into tech.
We firmly believe that none of this work is possible without allies and advocates. Whether you're a senior engineer, a team lead, or early in your career with skills to share, there is a space for you here.
One of our values is that we are female focused, male friendly. Men are welcome as mentors and allies — helping us grow the community and shout from the rooftops about diversity in tech.

What mentoring looks like in practice
Being a mentor looks different for everyone. The three most common ways to get involved are through workshops, answering questions on our online community and deeper impact through our bootcamp program.

All mentors have been extremely supportive, but I'd like to give a special shot out to Maddie. Her beautiful energy and incredibly intelligent self has helped catching up with Python very quickly and finding the sense to it.
