Earlier this month, the She Codes Plus cohort in Sydney celebrated their final Showcase at the Western Sydney Startup Hub, powered by Spacecubed. Here we saw a great turnout and during the evening, the cohort were able to showcase their portfolio to friends, family and hiring managers, as well as network with tech professionals and most importantly, had fun. Our first-ever program to run in Sydney, the program kickstarted in September 2022 and throughout the past six-months, the cohort have been able to learn and complete projects in HTML/CSS, Python, Django, DRF, JavaScript and ReactJS. They also had the opportunity to engage in Masterclass day, as well as immerse themselves in life as a developer through Immersion Day at VGW’s office in Sydney.
This program was made possible thanks to our amazing program partners VGW, the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet and Spacecubed. Through the program, the cohort has been armed with essential technical skills and key connections needed to kick start their career in tech, and we can’t wait to see where this program leads them in the future!
