Joy Taylor

Joy owns Canvas Coworking in Toowoomba and was part of our 2020 She Codes Plus Plus cohort in Brisbane. Joy lives and works in Toowoomba, 125km west of Brisbane, in regional Queensland.

She received one of the community placements funded under our one for one partnership model with BHP.

Post program, Joy is using her technical skills combined with her background as a business owner. Immediately post-program, Joy was offered a role as a Software Developer / SaaS Business Analyst at Data Farming (Australia). Since then she has had competing job offers from companies in Brisbane, and is still working in the industry.
